Angina with Non-Obstructive Coronary Arteries (ANOCA) is a condition where individuals experience chest pain despite having normal or non-obstructive coronary arteries - there is
no blockage in the major arteries supplying blood to the heart, and therefore the chest pain is often due to problems with the small blood vessels instead.
While ANOCA can be managed, it is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular events and mortality. Join us for a virtual discussion on ANOCA during the Weill Cornell Medicine Wellness Series with the Kips Bay Library.
